Our client, "Baotai Group," is a thoughtful and boldly innovative real estate developer. Following the numerous international awards earned by the Art Deco lobby style of their previous project, "Happy Park 2," they hoped we would present a younger industrial-style vibe for "Happy Park 3."
We fully embraced this direction, as our vision for the public lobby was not to create an ostentatious display of luxury, but rather a space usage model that is closer to daily life. Instead of exuding an alienating sense of exclusivity, the space was designed to convey a warm, welcoming atmosphere that greets residents every time they return home.
The focal point of the space draws inspiration from the renowned ukiyo-e works of the great artist Katsushika Hokusai. We crafted a central artwork by collaging small steel structural pieces, which, paired with carefully designed lighting, infuses the space with soul and endless imagination.
