At the boundary between the city and nature, we always seek a "buffer zone" for our lives. Thus came this house nestled in the mountains. It is not an "intrusion" into nature; instead, through design as a medium, it fosters a gentle dialogue between human habitation and the surrounding mountains.

|Mountains Inspire the Realm|
推开大门的瞬间，窗外连绵的绿意与层叠山影便毫无保留地涌入视野。我站在空旷的空间里突然意识到：这房子不该是山间 “闯入者”，而要作自然 “低语者”—— 既要消隐于山景，又要用现代语言回应自然。
The moment I pushed open the door of the villa, the rolling greenery and layered mountain shadows outside the window poured unreservedly into my sight. Standing in the empty space, I suddenly realized: this house should not be an "intruder" in the mountains, but a "whisperer" of nature—it must both fade into the mountain scenery and respond to nature in a modern language.
脑海中闪过一个原始意象——洞穴。它是人类最古老的栖居形态，以曲线拥大地、用圆弧消边界。若把空间化作 “山间生长的洞穴”，让空间回归原始流动感，或许就能实现自然与建筑的共生。
A primal image flashed through my mind — the cave. It is humanity’s oldest form of dwelling, embracing the earth with curves and dissolving boundaries with arcs. If we transform a space into a "cave that grows in the mountains," allowing the space to return to its original sense of flow, we might just achieve the symbiosis between nature and architecture.

现代社会的“方盒子”建筑，往往将人禁锢在固定的活动轨迹中：客厅用于会客，卧室用于休憩，功能的分割如同无形的墙。但在群山环绕的环境里，我们想打破这种“被规划的生活”。空间之间不是靠一道墙或者门来区隔，靠的是一道光、线、一个弧形的动线转折，自然分隔。
In modern society, "box-shaped" buildings often confine people to fixed activity patterns: living rooms for receiving guests, bedrooms for resting—functional divisions act like invisible walls. Yet, surrounded by mountains, We want to break free from this "planned way of life."Spaces are not divided by a wall or a door, but by a beam of light, a line, or a curved circulation turn, achieving a natural separation.
我们让空间回归曲线的原始型态。没有棱角分明的隔断，取而代之的是如洞穴岩壁般自然起伏的墙面；没有生硬的功能分区，而是通过地面高度差、弧形吊顶的引导，让动线随光影与视野自然延伸。
We return the space to its original curved form. There are no sharp-edged partitions; instead, there are walls that undulate naturally like the rock surfaces of a cave. There are no rigid functional divisions; instead, the circulation flows and extends naturally with light, shadow and views, guided by differences in floor elevation and curved suspended ceilings.

True design is not about conquering nature, but listening to it; it is not about defining life, but setting life free. When architecture integrates into the mountain scenery with a humble stance, people can rediscover the poetry of coexisting with nature in the dialogue between modernity and primitivity.
