石門山水悅建築外觀

項目基地座落於台灣石門水庫旁,建築四向面對層層疊疊的山嵐,大片原始林木與公園綠地,景觀極為優美,周邊自然生態極為完整與豐富,雖然基地所處緯度不高,但空氣中富含森林芬多精,極為適合在此提供使用者一個和自然連結之養生住宅。

The project site is located beside Taiwan’s Shimen Reservoir, with the building facing layered mountain mists, vast primeval forests, and park green spaces on all four sides. Boasting exceptionally beautiful landscapes and a complete, rich surrounding natural ecosystem, the site—though situated at a low latitude—has air rich in forest phytoncides, making it an ideal location for a health-preserving residence that connects users with nature.

【傳統連棟建築的改變】

當初業主找到我們時,一值談到期望蓋出讓人能在這房子待的長久,在室內能與戶外大自然產生連結這樣的房子,坦白說我們被這樣的心態所感動,才接下了這一個項目設計.

基本上這是一個傳統連棟透天的住宅建築設計,設計上最大的改變是挑戰原本傳統連棟建築共同壁的設計,在長向建築平面的二跨柱距中,第一跨的部分和隔壁棟脫開1M的間距,這個動作造成了原本傳統平面二向採光的缺點,變成每層平面擁有四向的通風採光機會,把連棟建築設計成獨棟建築才擁有的建築物理條件.當然,這樣的設計相對於傳統連棟建築共同壁的設計會增加出局部的工程費用,然而我們與業主的共同想法是,好的環境,本就值得投入更多的成本來創造.

[Innovation of Traditional Townhouse Architecture]

When the client first approached us, they consistently emphasized their desire to create a residence where people could live comfortably for a long time, with indoor spaces that foster a connection with the outdoor nature. Frankly, we were deeply moved by this vision and thus undertook the design of this project.

Essentially, this is a design for traditional townhouses. The most significant innovation lies in challenging the shared wall design of conventional townhouses: within the two-bay span of the long building plan, the first bay is separated from the adjacent townhouse by a 1-meter gap. This modification transforms the inherent limitation of traditional townhouses—only two-way lighting—into a design where each floor enjoys four-way ventilation and natural lighting, endowing the townhouse with the architectural physical conditions previously exclusive to detached villas. Admittedly, compared to the shared wall design of traditional townhouses, this approach incurs additional local construction costs. However, we share the client’s belief that a high-quality living environment is inherently worthy of greater investment to create.

【景觀建築的特色-景觀陽台】

設計之初,我們建議開發商業主在每一戶的規劃上大量留設景觀陽台,強化本項目產品度假與休閒的景觀特色,透過景觀陽台的設置,我們可以從室內直接走出戶外,飽覽基地前方四季變化的一片風景,人與大自然之間的微妙關係亦透過景觀陽台產生了極大的心理連結,建築,不只是生活的容器,他更是人與自然之間共處的極好介質.

[Feature of the Landscape Architecture - Landscape Balconies]

At the initial design stage, we proposed to the developer that ample landscape balconies be planned for each unit to enhance the project’s resort and leisure-oriented landscape characteristics. Through these landscape balconies, residents can step directly from the interior to the outdoors, taking in the ever-changing seasonal scenery in front of the site. The subtle relationship between humans and nature is also strengthened through a profound psychological connection facilitated by these balconies. Architecture is not merely a container for life; it is an excellent medium for coexistence between humans and nature.
